THERE ARE DAYS (For Mommy and Lisa)
There are days that I cry, Days I still wonder why, Days as lonely And as dark as the night. Moments I miss you so much I am frozen in time. Seconds when my breath catches in my throat When the grief is so tangible it causes me to choke. But in all of these seconds, moments and days, One powerful truth is that God still remains: My peace, my strength, my comfort, my friend, And my reminder that I will see you again.
